As of October 7, 2025, per addendum 1, the deadline has been extended from today to October 10, 2025. The Lancaster School District ("district") is issuing a request for qualifications and proposals (rfq/p) from experienced entities to provide lease lease-back preconstruction and construction services for the district's new construction and modernization improvements project at Mariposa TK-8 school. The responses to this rfq/p shall be used to select a firm that provides the best value to the district for lease lease-back preconstruction and construction services to assist the district in the project. The Mariposa TK-8 School Modernization and New Construction Project (Project) consists of the modernization of 18 of the school’s existing permanent classrooms, providing 21st century improvements to 12 portables and the existing library, removal of select portables, and the construction of four new permanent transitional kindergarten/kindergarten (TK/K) classrooms, a new music room, a new science lab, and a new gymnasium. Improvements are to be built according to current State code, District specifications, and 21st century educational program requirements. Modular construction is planned for the new buildings. A bid will not be accepted from any contractor or subcontractor that is required to complete a prequalification application and submit supporting documents pursuant to AB 1565. All prequalification documents are due by 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
