The proposed work includes: The construction of ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps to ensure safety for pedestrian and vehicular traffic around the Schuyler County courthouse. Federal and state wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal. The prime contractor must be on MODOT's approved contractor listing. This requirement includes that the contractor has submitted to MODOT a Contractor Questionnaire and/or Contractor Prequalification Questionnaire with attachments not later than seven (7) days prior to the date and hour of the bid opening (see Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction for more details). A certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each proposal.
