Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ocean Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work includes approximately 22,000 linear feet of concrete curb, 1,200 square yards of concrete driveway apron, 85,000 square yards of pavement milling, 12,000 tons of hot mix asphalt material, and 18,000 linear feet of traffic markings, various drainage inlet and manhole repairs and construction, tree removal, and traffic control, together with miscellaneous related work items. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company, payable to the Township of Ocean, as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the bidder, he will, within ten days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as a partial satisfaction of liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon fulfillment of this re!quirement by the bidder. The checks of all bidders will be returned according to law. No interest shall be allowed upon any such check. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c,127., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) & P.L. 1977, C-33 (Ownership Disclosure). The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids or within such extensions of time as permitted by law. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive informality of any bid. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
