All bid questions shall be emailed to shokanbidding@lamontengineers.com Request for Bids - Shokan Wastewater Management Program Shakan Sewer District Wastewater Collection and Treatment System Contracts 1 thru 6 Contract No. 1 - Shokan Collection System:Work of Contract No. 1 - Shokan Collection System includes all tools, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a new wastewater collection system, including lateral connections.Base Bid Part 1 - Shokan Collection System - The collection system work will consist of construction of approximately 70,500 LF of 8" PVC gravity sewer main line in lawn and paved areas, 525 - 4" and 6" PVC service connections, 11,500 LF of 4" and 6" PVC street laterals in lawn and paved areas, six (6) force main cleanout structures with various valves and equipment, 100 LF of 24" dia. cased boring for 8" DIP gravity sewer, approximately 10,100 LF of 2" thru 8" HDPE force main (FM) in lawn and paved areas, 525 LF of 1.25" thru 8" HDPE force main Horizontally Directional Drilled under streams, highways and driveways, 1,000 - 4" PVC Cleanouts, 408 - 48" diameter manholes and 3 - 60" dia. drop manholes. In addition, 8 collection system pump stations, 43 individual grinder pump stations and 10,000 LF of 1.25" to 2" HDPE GPS force main will be included in the work. Electrical work related to collection system pump stations and grinder pump stations is also included.Base Bid Part 2 - Sewer Laterals - The sanitary sewer lateral work consists of approximately 70,000 LF of 4" and 6" PVC building laterals in lawn and paved areas, 750 - 4" PVC Lateral Cleanouts, two (2) - 500-gallon Grease Traps, eight (8) - 1,000-gallon Grease Traps, connection of new sewer laterals to existing building sewer, pump out of existing septic tanks, and decommissioning /abandonment of existing septic systems. Contract No. 1 also includes all related restoration work. All Bidders are required to provide proof of registration with NYSDOL in accordance with Labor Law Section 220-i.
