Director of Public Works will accept sealed bids for the installation and modification of traffic signals and the performance of other appurtenant work under Project, Peck Road Traffic Signal Synchronization Program - Hemlock Street to Workman Mill Road, in the Cities of El Monte, Industry, and South El Monte and in the unincorporated communities of Whittier and Whittier Narrows. the implementation of traffic signal improvements, including the installation of signal and lighting standards, mast arms, vehicle and pedestrian heads, vehicle and pedestrian detection, and other traffic signal related equipment as part of the Traffic Signal Synchronization Program for 23 intersections along Peck Road, from Hemlock Street to Workman Mill Road, and other incidental and appurtenant work in the Cities of El Monte, Industry and South El Monte and the unincorporated communities of Whittier and Whittier Narrows under Project ID No.TSM0010459. The bids must be submitted on the proposal forms included in the bidder's package of the contract documents. The work is estimated to cost between $1,400,000 and $2,200,000 and shall be completed in 225 working days. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A and Class C10 contractor's license.
