Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Gimli, Manitoba. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Replacement of the existing pump lift station and relocate some influent piping into a new lift station, repair the existing raw sewage influent channel walls & grit classifier, and install cathodic protection at the GWWTP Headworks building. The Headworks building influent channel has concrete corrosion and experiences high levels of H2S odours that need to be addressed and resolved. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering services to develop detailed design and provide contract administration services was awarded in March 2026. Project needs approval prior to tender for construction, timelines are undefined. Contract is until December 31, 2026. *Budget is unreleased.
