Site work for a water / sewer project in Macon, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The City of Hawkinsville is requesting statements of qualifications from engineering firms interested in assisting the city in its effort to undertake design and construction management of neighborhood water and/or sewer improvements to be funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Interested parties are invited to secure an RFQ package from the Middle Georgia Regional Commission. To be considered, all interested parties must submit their response to the specified address no later than the listed deadline. Proposals received after this date and time or at any other location will not be considered. This is a Section 3 contract opportunity under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. Employment and economic opportunities generated by CDBG funds should be directed toward low and very low-income persons and to business concerns providing such opportunities. The project must affirmatively further fair housing, analyze and overcome impediments to fair housing choice, and ensure non-discrimination against individuals with disabilities. The City of Hawkinsville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The City of Hawkinsville is an equal opportunity employer.
