No definite date for the rebid.** RE-AD OF RFB-90-26 This project is for Door Modifications at the DJJ-Adair Regional Detention Center in Columbia, Kentucky. The scope of work includes replacing selected doors and adding new tray slots in existing doors in the dormitory units and intake. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business by the Kentucky Secretary of State and the Kentucky Department of Insurance within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. No questions will be answered at the site visit. All technical questions shall be emailed to the Architect/engineer of record for this project. Estimated Length of Project: 310 (Substantial Completion) + 14 (Final Completion) The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served.
