Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The construction of; 7" concrete pavement, variable thickness asphaltic concrete pavement, 5" concrete walk, 7" concrete driveways, concrete curb and gutter, permeable paver blocks, detectable warning fields, installation of various conduits and other electrical appurtenances, pavement grinding, sealing pavement joints and cracks, various geosynthetic material assembly/installation, gravel filling, concrete removals, sewer work, water work, trees clearing and grubbing, etc. Time for completion: all work on this contract shall be completed by december 19, 2025. No extras shall be given or paid for any required cold weather protection for concrete work. Liquidated damages, per diem: $1000.00/day The sbe requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The sbe compliance plan (form a) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. Sbe certificates must be submitted with the form a. Incomplete sbe compliance plans (form a) or inaccurate sbe compliance plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive. The contractor shall specifically note the sbe, residency, and apprenticeship forms for this project. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid. Bid security required: bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash to accompany bid: 10% of the contractor's base bid.
