The Work generally consists of replacement of the Water Pollution Control Facilities off gas stack Continuous Emissions Monitoring System Carbon Monoxide Analyzer. This Project includes the installation of control panel isolation circuit breakers for Generator 1 and Generator 5 and replacement of the feeder between unit substation USS-5 and Dewatering Building's main switchboard SBD-5. The City Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the Work is $1,130,000. Contract Time Information Anticipated Award Date: November 4, 2025 Final Completion: April 16, 2027 Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City.
