Site work and paving for a road / highway in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The work to be done under this bid consists of the miscellaneous infrared repair of bituminous concrete surfaces. This item includes cleaning and heating of the work area, scarification and placement of the specified materials, compaction, joint and surface sealing of heated areas. Bids must comply with the minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27G, inclusive, and are subject to the provisions of General Laws Chapter 30, Sections 39M, inclusive, as amended. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids if deemed to be in the City's best interest. Question Deadline 10/03/2025 All questions must be referred in writing to Jerry Kucera via email at kucerajs@worcesterma.gov All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Department, City of Worcester, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids.
