Project Description: This project includes Proj ect A, the installation of a new ore-manufactured metal build-ing to serve as a hitting facility, located adjacent to the existing softball field. The hitting facili ty also includes sidewalks and site work. In addition, Project B new tennis courts will be con-structed, with lighting and pe-rimeter fencing. The scope also Includes the addition of new paved sidewalks throughout the site, along with accommodated drainage infrastructure for proper water management. Ladner Project No. 083-25-A Project Identification: 25068-01 & 25068-02 Picayune Athletics: Tennis Courts and Hitting Facility. Project Location : Kent Kirkland Field, 404 Union School Road, Picayune, MS 39466. The documents include 2 separate projects that will be bid on the same date. Both projects may be awarded to the same contractor or different contractors separately. Contractors will be expected to coordinate scopes to deliver a successful and on-time project for both contracts. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. BID SECURITY Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The owner reserves the right to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to ninety (90) days. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Pre-Bid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work by Substantial Completion on May 1, 2026. BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
