The Somerville Housing Authority is seeking competitive sealed bids for 'Full Service' Elevator Preventative Maintenance, Testing, Emergency and Non-emergency Repairs of 17 Elevators at various locations in Somerville, Massachusetts, under SHA Job No. #P-ELV-82025, according to the specifications of the SHA Purchasing Department. The contractor must provide twenty-four (24) hour service, 7 days a week. The term of the contract is for three (3) years with two (2) one-year options at the authority's sole option. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Planning and Operation (DCAMM) in the category of Elevator Constructor. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount, including all alternates, made payable to the Somerville Housing Authority. Addenda will be posted on the website and are the responsibility of the bidder to include in their submission.
