Site work and paving for a civil project in Edna, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for the following work: installation of new water lines, valves, fire hydrants, and services; installation of new storm drain pipes, inlets, manholes, concrete flumes, ditch cleaning and pipe cleaning; rehabilitation of existing roadway pavement, installation of new curbs, and resurfacing of roadways. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form, sealed in an envelope clearly marked as specified, and received by the designated office before the stated deadline. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. A bid bond of 5% of the bid or a certified check, bank draft payable to the City, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) must accompany each bid. Bidders are encouraged to obtain all required documentation, which can be accessed from the specified locations. Particular attention must be paid to Contractor's Insurance requirements. The City reserves the right to hold all bids for 60 days, to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to require statements of bidder's qualifications and experience, including financial statements.
