Renovation of a mixed-use development in Algonquin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
Project consists of providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary to install new roof top units at Hampshire Middle School and H.D. Jacobs High School, and to provide minor interior modifications to the existing portions of the school as indicated in the Bid Documents. Prospective bidders should contact Kari Christensen at Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list for access to SmartBid to download drawings. All interested bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to access SmartBid. Bidders must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Qualification statements are due at Lamp Incorporated’s office by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and should be submitted online through SmartBid. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount with approved sureties and Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the contract award. All Performance and Payment Bonds will be in accordance with the AIA 232 General Conditions. The successful bidder is required to pay Prevailing Wage and submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act.
