Bid Spella Park Retaining Wall Project The Village of Algonquin is accepting sealed bids for the Spella Park Retaining Wall Project, which includes replacement an existing two-tiered concrete block wall with a new, single tier segmental concrete block wall. This work shall consist of tree root pruning for the maintenance and protection of existing trees. Tree root pruning shall be performed in accordance with applicable portions of Section 201 of the Standard Specifications and as shown in the plan details. Root pruning equipment shall cleanly cut roots without ripping or tearing. All root pruning shall be completed prior to the installation of temporary construction fencing if applicable.
