Sealed proposals are requested for the traditional, manual collection and removal of garbage, rubbish, and recyclables from the Borough commencing January 1, 2026. Proposals should include alternate bids for durations of 1, 2, and 3 years. No bid or part thereof may be withdrawn by a bidder for sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the highest bid amount, payable to the Borough of Thornburg. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or parts of bids and to waive technical defects in any bid.
