Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Zumbrota, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the renovation of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; and water / sewer project.
As of 4/14/2026, this project has not yet been awarded. It is anticipated to be awarded on 4/16/2026. Begin Construction: April 2026 Substantially Complete: April 2027 Final Completion: September 2027 Submit all questions about the bidding documents to the Engineer in writing to 1. Troy Coakley, Electrical Engineer/Project Manager - email: TroyC@Burbachinc.com POOL MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION - CONTRACT #2 This includes incidental demolition, grading, limited site work, process piping, recirculation systems, pumps, pool water features, below and above-grade piping, disinfectant systems, filter systems, precast concrete containment tanks, chemical controllers, electrical bonding, and miscellaneous Work. Contractor shall carry Workmen's Compensation Insurance satisfactory to the Organization and shall also carry Public Liability Insurance in the same way. The successful bidder(s) shall furnish a corporate surety performance bond, payment bond, and maintenance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City. Said bonds shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor. The Work in general for the Contracts shall commence by Date; and shall be Substantially Completed and ready for Owner occupancy. Contract #2 by May 28, 2026 and Completed by September 30, 2026. The City, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
