The purpose of this project is to modernize the existing passenger elevator system to improve safety, reliability, performance, and compliance with codes & standards. The modernization will extend the service life of the elevator and enhance passenger experience. Question Deadline: Wed Oct 8, 2025 4:00:00 PM (EDT) Duration in months: 2 Documents can be obtained from https://ldsb.bidsandtenders.ca/ Respondents must be on site and signed in before 10:00:00 AM EST. For that reason, the Board recommends that respondents allow sufficient time to get to the site. Respondents arriving near the deadline do so at their own risk. Attendance is mandatory for the full length of the meeting and respondents must sign out when the site visit has concluded. Failure to meet any of the above will result in automatic disqualification from the tender process. Respondents shall attend the site meeting at their own risk and hold the Board harmless for any issues or damages arising out of their attendance of the site meeting. The Board will not consider any claims for additional payments during the execution of the Work for extra work or difficulties encountered resulting from conditions which were either visible or could be reasonably inferred from an examination of the Place of the Work and the available project information prior to the submission of Proposals.
