Reference Number 0000398865 Question Deadline 10/07/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Questions are submitted online Yes The Village of Orland Park ("Village") is requesting proposals for crack filling, repair and color coating (RCC), asphalt repair or overlay, and fencing repair at Eagle Ridge Park located at 10755 Eagle Ridge Dr. Orland Park, IL. and at Discovery Park located at 11501 Brook Hill Dr. Orland Park, IL 60462 ("Project"). The work to be performed by the successful proposer shall be complete on or before July 1st , 2026. General Requirements - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % This project includes structural crack repair, asphalt resurfacing, acrylic color coating, basketball court layout and markings, and installation of new basketball equipment. The work also includes site adjustments to stormwater grates and potential minor excavation for posts, ensuring a safe, playable, and long-lasting court surface. Scope of Work 1. Crack Repair & Surface Preparation Mechanically rout, clean, and fill cracks less than 0.75". 2. Asphalt Paving, Grinding & Leveling Surface Evaluation: Inspect the entire court surface for uneven areas or structural deficiencies. Grinding & Overlay (If Needed): Where significant heaves, low spots, or deteriorated asphalt are identified, grind the affected areas and apply an asphalt overlay to achieve a stable, uniform base. Furnish, install, and compact a 2" N-50 hot-mix asphalt (HMA) surface course for slope correction and final playing surface. Apply SS-1h asphalt tacking primer as required. 3. Acrylic Surfacing Apply a base coat of acrylic resurfacer to uncoated asphalt. Apply a top coat of acrylic resurfacer. Apply two coats of textured acrylic color (one base color) plus additional accent color as directed. 4. Court Layout & Markings Layout, mask, prime, and stripe regulation basketball court lines with textured line paint. 5. Basketball Equipment Installation Remove existing concrete footings for net posts/basketball goals. Excavate and set new basketball anchor bolts or posts in concrete as required (equipment supplied separately). Furnish and install a 5' gooseneck basketball goal with fan-shaped backboard and rim, ensuring proper alignment and secure installation. 6. Site Adjustments & Cleanup Ensure stormwater grates are reset to proper industry-standard grade. Haul away and dispose of approximately 1 cubic yard of soil, gravel, or clay. Remove all construction debris and restore any disturbed areas to original condition.
