Renovation of a communication facility in Dayton, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade communication facility.
The work consists generally of the removal of two 15 kV circuit breakers, the installation of two Owner-furnished Mitsubishi 15 kV circuit breakers, connection of existing power, CT, VT, and control cables, as well as circuit breaker and protective relay testing and commissioning, and other related work as shown on the drawings and/or described in the specifications. Instructions to bidders: Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bidder’s Bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder must execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent of the contract. Each bidder must be a licensed Contractor in accordance with the State of Tennessee Contractor’s Licensing Act, and all required license information must be displayed on the outside of the bid envelope for all applicable subcontractors. Failure to comply will result in the bid being returned unopened. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after the date of the bid opening without consent from the Owner. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
