Site work for a water / sewer project in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The Total Contract Time will be 365 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $700 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. All project related questions should be directed to Jamie McInnis at jamie.mcinnis@waggonereng.com with the subject line reading - "Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements" .Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements" no later than 2:00 p.m. on 9TH day, April 2026. A bid bond or a certified cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required. The Town of Pelahatchie reserves the right to amend the specifications and contract documents as necessary prior to bid and agrees to notify all having requested bid packets. The Town of Pelahatchie reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. The Town of Pelahatchie, Mississippi hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion or national origin in consideration for an award. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant Program (MCWI) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with MCWI and ARC Regulations.
