Site work for a water / sewer project in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The OWNERs goal for minority-owned business participation as a percentage of construction cost is 3.6%. The OWNERs goal for women-owned business participation is 2.1%. Written and electronic sealed bids will be received for the construction project designated as "Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements." Bids should be for the construction of a tank and well and all other related items of work required to complete the project as specified in the Contract Documents. The Total Contract Time is 365 consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages of $700 per day thereafter. A bid bond or certified cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required. Bid documents can be obtained in paper or digital format from www.waggonerengplans.com, where registration and a valid e-mail address are required. Purchased documents are non-refundable. The Town of Pelahatchie reserves the right to amend specifications, accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities. Disadvantaged, minority, and women's business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids and to explore subcontracting opportunities. All applicable federal and state regulations apply to contracts awarded from this solicitation.
