The work includes demolition, removal, and disposal of existing improvements; removal and salvage of designated items; miscellaneous roadway improvements such as installation of concrete sidewalk, pavement markings and markers, and permanent signs; installation of concrete median curbing for access management and U-turn prevention with associated signing and markings; curb extensions with raised median or delineator posts at certain locations; installation of asphalt speed cushions; and comprehensive replacement or refreshing of pavement markings within the limits of improvements. The project is funded by State Transportation and Federal Enhancement Funds, and is subject to applicable federal regulations apply as specified herein.
