Bids are requested for the ELIZABETH GREEN LIGHT-GO TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADE project at the intersection of McKeesport Blvd./Lincoln Blvd. (SR 2001), Lovedale Rd. (SR 2010) and Atlantic Ave. All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis. A certified check or bank draft payable to Elizabeth Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Bidders shall comply with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates will apply. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days for review and investigation of the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract. Elizabeth Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and submit proof thereof with their bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Scope of Work The work involved under this contract shall consist of the following: Upgrade of the traffic signal at the intersection of McKeesport Blvd./Lincoln Blvd. (SR 2001), Lovedale Rd. (SR 2010) and Atlantic Ave. to include the items of work as per the enclosed Plans (Contract Drawings). It is intended that the work described in this Contract be complete in every detail, including furnishing, constructing, installing, removing and testing all equipment, materials and products necessary for the aforementioned scope of work. All work is to be performed within Public Right of Way. Any work performed outside of Public Right of way will be the CONTRACTOR's responsibility to coordinate with private property owners.
