Environmental Offices AC system is inoperable and will need to be replaced. The room requires an 18k ductless mini split Commercial AC. The Contractor/Vendor is responsible to remove and dispose the "Old" Mini split unit, and supply/install a New single zone AC unit. The AC system must be complete, and fully operational based on but not limited to the plans and Scope of Work/Specifications (SOW/specs). The contract shall include the costs of materials, labor, equipment/tools, and rentals, to implement and complete the project in a good and acceptable workmanship. Supply and install a New Indoor Unit PKA-AL18N or approve equal. Supply and install an Outdoor Unit PUY-AK-18NL or approve equal. Install a New Simple MA Remote Controller PAC-YT53CRAU-J. Inspect the electrical wiring and conduits for condition and replace as required to meet code., Replace circuit breaker. Mount "outdoor unit on mini split wall mounting brackets 24" inches above ground surface. Insulate all refrigerant, mechanical and electrical conduit/lines and cover Ductmold lineset cover system. Pressure test system to 500 psi and perform a "witness test" with the system holding pressure for twenty-four (24) hours. Once the system is deemed tight with pressure test, evacuate the system to 500 microns for six (6) hours. Perform an additional "witness vacuum test after." (Note: only if applicable to the mini split system being installed) Commission HVAC systems (functional performance tests). The "Old" Split AC unit must be drained from all "hazardous materials" and dispose of in accordance with State, Federal and Installation Environmental law. See section X environmental requirements.
