Site work for a water / sewer project in Hilo, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of the removal and reconstruction of two drywells. Bidders must possess a valid State of Hawai‘i General Engineering Contractor’s License “A.” No other specialty licenses will be required unless noted in an addendum. To be eligible, bidders must submit an Intent to Bid by the deadline and provide a completed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form prior to the bid opening. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Public Purchase System. Bidders are reminded to comply with all licensing, tax clearance, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation, temporary disability insurance, and prepaid health care requirements; and must perform the work with a workforce of at least eighty percent Hawai‘i residents unless exempted. The Director of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bids may be withdrawn after opening, except if the award is delayed over 180 days.
