Site work for a water / sewer project in Escanaba, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Escanaba at the office of the City Clerk. Bidder proposals and/or specifications may be obtained from the office of the City Clerk. No bids will be considered unless the proposal form and/or specifications furnished by the City are properly completed and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked 'BOILER REPLACEMENT FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT - 2025.' No proposal will be considered if not received prior to the published time, date, and year of bid opening. Fax transmittals will not be accepted. A Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bidder’s Bond, payable without condition to the City of Escanaba in an amount not less than 10% of the bid, must be submitted with each proposal as a guarantee. On failure of the successful bidder to fulfill the conditions of the proposal, the deposit will be forfeited as liquidated damages. Acceptance of the proposal is contingent upon the bidder's acceptance of this provision. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. The City may also split bids at its discretion and reserves the right to negotiate directly with any or all bidders concerning any matter related to any bid.
