Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Palmview, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The City of Palmview invites sealed proposals from qualified firms to furnish construction services for the City of Palmview Fire Station and EOC Building at 1803 Marla St., Palmview, TX 78572. Bidding documents are available in digital format only from CG5 Architect LLC. Bidders must submit a bid security of 5% of the total proposal amount with their bid, and performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract value upon award. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and must be signed by the offeror or an authorized representative. Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Proposals will be evaluated, ranked, and selected based on price and value (50%), experience and team (20%), approach and schedule (15%), quality and safety (10%), and past performance and community engagement (5%). The City and its Architect/Engineer may negotiate cost-reduction options with the top-ranked proposer and continue in rank order if necessary until an agreement is reached or all proposals are rejected. There is a pre-proposal conference at City Hall prior to the submission deadline. Price alone will not determine the award, and the contract will be awarded based on best value according to the published selection criteria.
