The Project consists of the development of a Pocket Park on the parcel owned by Clayton County located at Tara Boulevard and Old Poston Road, which is also the site under development for the Clayton County Administration Building. The park encompasses 4.01 acres. Park amenities and features include, but are not limited to: approximately 1,800 linear feet of walking trail with covered seating, exercise area and picnic pavilion; landscaped lawn areas with a water feature for public casual gatherings and community event programming; a bathroom/maintenance prefabricated structure with one male and one female bathroom and utility/storage room; a loop road around the site with parking and power for a mobile clinic; lighting for trails and parking areas; site grading for the park, future parking, and future building pads; and storm drains for lawn areas, trails, loop road, and parking routed to a retention pond.
