Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Corona, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
This project's scope of work includes the removal of existing non-compliant curb ramps and installation of new ADA-compliant curb ramps, as well as the construction of additional ramps where barriers currently exist. All new curb ramps will be built to meet the latest ADA requirements and applicable City, County, and State standards, ensuring safe and accessible pedestrian routes. Bids shall be valid for 90 calendar days after the close of bid. Bids must be submitted on the City Bid Forms. All electronic Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the submitted Total Bid Price pursuant to Section 12 Bid Guarantee (Bond) of the Instructions to Bidders. Liquidated Damages $3,600 for each and every calendar day of delay Estimated Bid Value $425,000-$470,000 Start/Delivery Date Anticipate December 2025 Project Duration 7 Calendar Days Move-In Period with 30 Working Days The successful bidder will be required to furnish the City with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment (Labor and Materials) Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who does not attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Bidders are required to RSVP their attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference no later than 11:00 a.m., October 8, 2025 by emailing Annette Solorio, annette.solorio@coronaca.gov with the name(s) and phone number(s) of Bidder's personnel attending the mandatory pre-bid conference. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring a business card for check-in. Before the Contract is awarded, the successful bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following appropriate classification(s) of contractor's license(s), for the work bid upon, and must maintain the license(s) throughout the duration of the Contract: a valid Class 'A' General Engineering Contractor.
