Site work for a water / sewer project in Fallbrook, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of the installation of a 750 kW backup generator at the Santa Margarita Groundwater Treatment Plant, and associated electrical gear. Site work generally includes grading, installation of a retaining wall, structural pad, electrical duct bank runs, etc. Time for completion is 270 calendar days. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. Also, if a contract awarded to the successful bidder will exceed $25,000, a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price must also be submitted to the District prior to execution of the Contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California. Award of Contract: District shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as determined from the base bid alone by District. District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
