The City of Auburn, Alabama is seeking bids for the Miscellaneous Pump Station Improvements Project according to provided specifications. All bidders must possess an Alabama general contractor's license to qualify. Bidders must register in the City's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system and add the appropriate NIGP commodity codes to receive bid notifications. Specifications and instructions can be obtained electronically upon request or through the City's Procurement website. The Project consists of the following major components: o Replacement of existing Woodland Park #1, Woodland Park #2, and Choctafaula Pump Station wet well submersible pumps with new wet well submersible pumps. o Replacement of existing submersible pump rails and base elbow at Woodland Park #1, Woodland Park #2, Highlands, and Choctafaula Pump Stations. o Replacement of existing discharge piping, valves, and supports in wet well and valve pit at Woodland Park #1, Woodland Park #2, Highlands, and The Preserve Pump Stations. o Replacement of existing wet well piping at Graystone and Stone Creek Pump Stations. o Replacement of existing submersible pump rails at Stone Creek Pump Station. o Rehabilitation of wet well, including removal of existing coating and deteriorated concrete and application of new corrosion resistant coating at Woodland Park #1, Woodland Park #2, The Preserve, and Graystone Pump Stations. o Installation of fencing around Woodland Park #1 Pump Station. o Installation of lighting at Woodland Park #1, Woodland Park #2, The Preserve, and Stone Creek Pump Stations. o Installation of water line at Woodland Park #1 Pump Station. o Installation of spigot at Highlands Pump Station. o Replacement of existing pump control panel, including all internal wiring, terminal strips, control relays, and electronic devices at Woodland Park #1, Woodland Park #2, and Graystone Pump Stations. o Retrofit of existing pump control panel, including all internal wiring, terminal strips, control relays, and electronic devices at The Preserve Pump Station. o Removal of ladder rungs in Graystone Pump Station wet well. o Installation of new wet well cover, including fall protection grating, at Graystone Pump Station. o Installation of new flow meter on Choctafaula Pump Station effluent force main. o Installation of new diesel driven standby pump at Choctafaula Pump Station. The Work will be completed in all respects within 300 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
