The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for improvements including a new shared-use path on the south side of SR 516 in the vicinity of Tahoma High School (western limits) and 236th/Summit Park Way SE (eastern limits). The project will install a shared use path, bike ramps, ADA curb ramps, bioswale/infiltration facilities, asphalt paving, curb/gutter, and landscaping to improve safety for non-motorized users along the south side of SR 516. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid proposal, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the contract documents, the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited.
