The Work shall be completed within 80 working days from the date of Notice to Proceed in which the City is prepared to issue in July 2025. The Work shall consist, of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for: The improvements will include new message board signs located at three "entrances" to the City of Maple Valley: locations include the north entry on SR 169 north of Witte Rd SE, the south entry on SR 169 north of SE 276th St, and the west entry on SR 516 east of 216th Ave SE. The work also includes the following: oErosion control BMPs oElectrical service systems for the signs including service cabinets and foundations with meter and uninterrupted power supply system (backup power), junction boxes, conduit, and coordination with PSE. oCurb, gutter and channelization improvements. oA vehicular pullout, grading, and rockery at the West Entry sign location, oRockery work oTemporary traffic control during construction o Other work necessary to complete the Work as specified and shown in the Contract Documents The estimated, cost of this project is in the range of $650,000 to $720,000. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid proposal, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited, to the City of Maple Valley. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality m the bidding, and to make the award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the City.
