Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, materials and other requirements as set forth herein or as required to perform and complete in a workmanlike and expeditious manner, with adequate, skilled and competent workmen, in strict compliance with the Contract Documents, the rules, regulations and standards of the Development Standards Committee of The Woodlands, all applicable Federal, State, County and Municipal regulations, customs, codes, laws and ordinances, and in conformity with the directions of Owner, Owner's Superintendent or the Architect/Engineer, the following (herein called "the Work") Construction of the Detention Pond to Serve Creekside Park Section 41 Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, drawn to the order of The Woodlands Land Development Company, L.P. (Owner) in the minimum amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract, within Ten (10) days after receipt of contract documents. Bids without check or bidders bond will not be considered. Document Notes : Plans and specifications will be available for review at the offices of LJA Engineering, Inc., Associated General Contractors of Texas, Construct Connect, and Amtek Information Service, Inc. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.
