Closing Time: 10:00 AM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/10/20 10:00:00 AM NDT The Contractor shall employ only fully qualified and trained equipment operators. All tradespersons are to be certified as per the standard of thetrade. The Contractor shall commence the work immediately after contract award. General nature of work to be included but not necessarily limited by the following: 23.1 To provide all labour and materials to assist in the repair and/or installation of all underground services as required. These underground services include, but not limited to, water lines, pipes, valves, sewers, fire hydrants, catch basins, manholes, etc. Ensure all risk mitigation factors related to safe execution of work are included per scope of work 2.32 To provide repairs/restoration to roadways, curbs and gutters, sidewalks associated with work mentioned in 2.3.1 above. All site repairs and restoration work must be completed in accordance with The City of St. John's specifications for such work (latest edition as referenced below) with the following two exceptions: This contract shall remain in force from tentatively November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028, or as stated in the Award Letter from the University. The Contract may be extended on a year-to-year basis by mutual consent of the parties to this Contract and for a maximum of three (3) years after the initial contract period. Any further extensions that may be requested, and mutually agreed upon, shall be on a month-by-month basis and subject to the terms of the Contract. Such monthly extensions are meant only to accommodate local work disruptions or new Open Call closing times for the services in question extending beyond the normal end of this Contract. The rates listed in Appendix "C", Price Form Sheet will be in effect for the period of November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028. The Contractor must submit documentation of any proposed rate changes for the optional years (November 1, 2028, to October 31, 2029, November 1, 2029, to October 31, 2030, and November 1, 2030, to October 31, 2031) sixty (60) days prior to the start date for each year.
