Site work for a communication facility in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
Benning Construction Company is currently seeking written proposals for GDOT Traffic Management Upgrade project located in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. Construction includes work performed in multiple rooms of the existing TMC. This includes but is not limited to technology upgrades and facility upgrades, a portion of the 1st level and the roof. The TMC operations function will be temporarily located outside of the construction area. The following is a listing of some of the upgrades. Upgrade video wall hardware and software in accordance with Division 27 specifications, or proposed and accepted comparable equivalents. Install new mechanical systems. Install new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Modify existing fire suppression systems. Install new dry pipe pre-action fire suppression system for the Communications Room. Construct rooms for Fire Protection and Electrical. Reconfigure and/or construct Offices. Relocate access to Work Room and Communications Room. Upgrade walls and doors adjacent to Offices to glass. Upgrade walls adjacent to Conference Room to glass. Upgrade acoustical panels. Upgrade flooring and paint. Upgrade to new LED light fixtures. Furnish and install operator consoles. Upgrade audio-visual system and install monitors in Conference Room. Upgrade monitors in Reception/Lobby. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
