Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
Questions Due Date: Oct 9th 2025, 2:00 PM MDT Design services for the final design and construction documents for Bus Stop and end of line facilities with associated improvements for the Davis-SLC Community Connector project, with options to provide construction phase and other services deemed necessary and as elected and directed The Utah Transit Authority is requesting proposals from qualified firms for Davis-SLC Community Connector Final Design and Construction Phase Services. The contractor selected will be required to comply with all applicable Federal and State laws, regulations and certifications, and equal employment opportunity laws and regulations. Instructions to proposers are provided in the RFQu documents. The project will also include the purchasing of 18 new 40-foot electric buses and the infrastructure to charge them both on-route at the Farmington station and the end-of-line, as well as adding additional depot chargers at the Depot District. These buses will be branded similar to the current UTA BRT fleet to distinguish them from local routes. The work associated with the RFQu includes Project management, aesthetics and landscaping, surveying and mapping, geotechnical, right of way, drainage design, roadway design, traffic analysis, traffic signals, bus stops (new and existing) design, end of line facilities design, bus on-route and depot charging design, utility investigation and design, grant application support and other services described herein. The selected firm will work with UTA's Capital Services and other UTA departments to create the designs and provide the necessary documents for the project. The selected firm will also coordinate with project stakeholders. The scope of services and approach to the work proposed for the Project will be a key element in the determination of the capacity and capabilities of the Proposer in the qualifications-based selection of the successful Proposer. The Proposal shall include the services and deliverables for each phase of the Project and specifically for the construction documents phase.
