The California Science Center is soliciting bids to procure all materials, supplies, rental of equipment, and labor necessary to repair a section of epoxy resin (thin-set) terrazzo flooring. Question Deadline 10/13/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Written Responses to Questions Released by 10/14/2025 5:00 p.m. All questions regarding the content of this IFB must be submitted in writing by mail or electronically to Erica Guzman (eguzman@californiasciencecenter.ca.gov) and must be received by the Key Action Date identified above. Questions not submitted in writing by the Key Action Date for submission of written questions shall be answered at the State's option. Payment Bond: If the awarded Contract is in excess of $25,000, the winning bidder (Contractor) must provide the California Science Center a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the total amount of the contract within ten (10) business days of the contract award. Payment Bond must be provided before the commencement of any work. Bonds must be issued by a California-admitted surety. (CCP 995.311.) Bonding company must execute two (2) copies of the payment bond and complete Std. 807 form. Form will be provided to winning bidder (Contractor) upon award. Bid Opening Notes: For contractors who need assistance due to a visual or hearing impairment, a reasonable accommodation will be provided by the awarding agency upon request for the virtual opening of sealed cost bid. The Contractor must call Erica Guzman at (213) 744-2261 or email eguzman@californiasciencecenter.ca.gov by the morning prior to the scheduled date and time of the virtual opening of sealed cost bid to arrange for a reasonable accommodation.
