The work consists essentially of the following estimated quantities: mobilization, clearing and grubbing general, saw cut pavement - full depth, remove pavement, remove sidewalk, remove 4' wire fence, earthwork excavation - established quantity, construct 5" PCC sidewalk, construct 6" PCC trail, construct 7" PCC pavement, construct 7" PCC curb ramp, construct detectable warning panel, construct 24" preformed crosswalk tape, construct sign pole system, construct pedestrian crossing sign (30" X 30") with arrow placard (24" X 12"), construct 18" R.C.R, class III, construct 18" pipe bedding, construct 18" RC flared end section, and construct rock rip-rap type "B". Proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by Lamp Rynearson and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than $11,700.00. All proposals are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "PROPOSAL FOR TRAIL, SECTION 1" with a separate envelope for bid security marked "BID SECURITY". The work will be done under written contract with the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Sanitary and Improvement District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Construct 10-feet wide, 6-inch thick P.C.C. trail together with curb ramps and appurtenances and perform all other work necessary or incidental thereto. Q/A :- Question Deadline 10/13/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders.
