Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of all work required for the McGee Street Bridge Rehab project at the Post Oak Creek crossing, including bridge structure rehabilitation, bank and stream stabilization, grading, paving, and storm drain installation. All necessary labor, materials, and testing must be provided in accordance with the plans and specifications. All proposals must include a cashier’s check or certified check, or a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total maximum bid price as a guarantee that the respondent will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten days of notice of award. The successful respondent must furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in conformance with statutory requirements, and upon project completion, provide a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the total contract price. All bonds must be submitted by a surety company licensed for this purpose in Texas and specifically approved in writing by the City, carrying a Best Rating of “A” or better, with the surety's name clearly written on the proposal envelope.
