Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sherman, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of all work associated with the unit price bid for the drainage improvements at Lamberth Road between Cornerstone Dr. and US Highway 75 which include the removal of three existing 36-inch reinforced concrete pipes that will be replaced with two 8-foot by 7-foot reinforced concrete boxes, two parallel wing walls, modular retaining walls at the downstream/upstream channel with erosion control measures also being placed at the impacted areas of the channel. This project will also include the removal and replacement of the existing street, the curb and gutter, existing drive approaches and sidewalks as necessary within the aforementioned limits. Additionally, these improvements will also include the relocation of water and wastewater elements located within the limits of construction including new manhole installation and valve/meter box adjustments as needed. The project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check from a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City, or an original bid bond in the same amount from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and listed on the current U.S. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance executed by a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a surety or its authorized agent as a guarantee that the respondent will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to respondent. The successful respondent shall furnish to the City upon notice of award a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in conformance with statutory requirements. The successful respondent shall furnish to the City once the project is complete a one (1) year maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. All bonds shall be submitted by a surety company specifically approved in writing from the City holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as a surety, or other sureties acceptable to the City.
