Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Livingston, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received by the Sumter County Commission for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for construction of the Siloam (Ward) BPS Replacement. The project consists of the replacement of a booster pump station and related appurtenances along with the demolition of an existing booster pump station in Sumter County, AL. All bidders must comply with federal regulations including the President’s Executive Order Number 11246, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Workhours Act, and others regarding employment conditions and wage rates. Bidders are required to be licensed contractors in the State of Alabama, comply with registration requirements, and submit a list of similar completed projects from the last 5 years. Bids must include bid security of at least 5% of the bid amount and guarantee bonds for 100% of the contract price if selected. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with all required contractor and project identification. Late bids will not be considered. Nonresident contractors must provide all required legal certifications and licenses. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder.
