Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Livingston, Alabama. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to kitchen cabinet replacement for the apartments at the Willows site. Replacement to include complete tear-out of existing cabinets and installation of new cabinets, plumbing, and accessories. Instructions to bidders: Only bids of contractors licensed by the State Licensing Board of General Contractors of Alabama prior to the date of advertisement will be considered. All bidders must show evidence of such license by clearly displaying their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. Each bid must include a certified check or bank draft, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bidders must pay not less than minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents and must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Certification of enrollment in E-verify, with the certification number written on the outside of the bid envelope, is required. Section 3 requirements must be complied with as provided in the contract documents. Each bid package must include the bid bond, bid form, E-verify certification, HUD-5369-A, the non-collusive affidavit, and two previous participation certificates, all signed in blue ink by the bidder and on the correct HUD forms. The Livingston Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
