Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Gurnee, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Separate sealed bids are sought for demolition services at Gurnee Park District 35066 & 35010 Hunt Club Road, Gurnee, IL 60031. Work to include, but not be limited to, demolition and removal of seven buildings, foundations, asphalt and concrete driveways, site grading, site restoration, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the project. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for any contractor desiring to bid, where the project site will be evaluated, and the scope of work and specifications reviewed. Bids must include a bid bond equal to 10% of the bid price in the form of a certified or cashier's check, and the successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor/material payment bonds for 100% of the awarded contract price. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage requirements and provide, within 10 days of award, policies and programs regarding sexual harassment, substance abuse prevention, job site safety, and employment discrimination. Each bid must be placed in a sealed envelope and identified as instructed. QA date - 10-10-2025
