Renovation of a fire / police facility in Peoria, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The City of Peoria, Arizona is seeking qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for phased improvements to a City-owned commercial property located at 10857 N 95th Ave in south Peoria. The property will be adapted to serve expanding Police Department needs, including specialty vehicle storage, impounded evidence vehicle storage, evidence vehicle forensics, long-term evidence storage, tactical training, and supporting office uses. The 95 th Avenue Multipurpose Police Facility is 1990's era 82,000 square foot light duty pre-engineered building on 4.5 acres of developed site within industrial zoning. Building systems are largely functional but are anticipated to be replaced or renewed as part of a multi-phase development of the full building and site program The acquisition of the 95 th Avenue vehicle centric commercial property in south Peoria affords the City an opportunity to consolidate impounded evidence vehicles, evidence vehicle forensics, and some additional component of conditioned long-term evidence storage within the same facility footprint. In addition, the high bay enclosed structure can accommodate an indoor marking cartridge training shoot house and ready-to-deploy specialty vehicles (ex: command, armored vehicles) During the design phase, the selected design firm will provide all design services to include the tasks outlined below: Facilitation of a comprehensive goal setting, basis of design technical criteria development, and an architectural space program validation effort that will fully quantify and characterize the intended building program, contemplated building systems, site development parameters, and inform viable phasing; Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Engineering (multiple disciplines) professional services; Coordination with various City of Peoria departments, including Public Works Facilities, Development & Engineering, Planning & Community Development, Parks & Recreation (for contract site maintenance), Fire-Medical and Finance; Shortlist Confirmed.
