Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a medical facility in Lakewood, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 590,000-square-foot, four-story above grade medical facility; one-story above grade medical facility; and eight-story above grade medical facility.

The scope of work includes demolition of twelve existing buildings and infrastructure, and construction of approximately 590,000 square feet of new development. This consists of a 4-story post-tensioned concrete and structural steel hospital, an 8-story mass timber administration building, and associated site work. The facility is to comply with Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements and be designed to achieve net-zero energy per Washington Governor's Executive Order 20-01. The following specific bid packages are included: signage, demolition of Building 10, and doors and hardware installation.
