Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Rome, Ohio. Working plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility.
As of November 20, 2025, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. A. Work shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, and tools for the construction as set forth in these documents. B. Applicable Codes: Ohio Building Code, Ohio Plumbing Code, Ohio Mechanical Code, National Electric Code, NFPA, and ADAAG (latest edition of each), as administered and modified by local building department having authority in the area of the work in addition to any other code authority. C. Requirements of Regulatory: Contractor shall apply for and obtain all plan reviews, permits, and inspections required by local laws, rules and regulations. Fees for such reviews, permits and inspections shall be paid by the Contractor unless noted by the owner. ALL QUESTIONS concerning obtaining bid packages and supplemental information should be directed to Smolen Engineering, Ltd., 1876 State Route 46 North, Jefferson, OH 44047, phone: (440) 576-0505. Question Deadline 10/10/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date Completion- June 30, 2026
