The project will construct a new 27-inch sanitary trunk line beginning north of Interstate 80 in the City of Peru, IL and ending at Park Rd. and Midtown Rd. The project consists of installation of approximately 9,000 linear feet of 27-inch gravity fed sanitary sewer, manhole structures, bore and jack installation of a 42-inch steel casing, and all other related appurtenances. The successful Bidder shall provide at least 25% of all labor required for the completion of this project. Contact information shall be provided on the Bidding Documents Website Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the City of Peru. Bids may be held by the City of Peru for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. It is suggested the Bidder visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site.
