The site is located at Veteran's Memorial Park at 200 S 10th Avenue in Pensacola, Florida. At the time of drilling, the proposed building area, located along the south side of E Romana Street, was occupied by bushes (including palmettos) and a few small oak trees. Google Earth(R) indicates that the existing elevation in the proposed building area is roughly 6 feet. We understand that the project includes a 610 square foot single-story building with a 1,010 square foot open air pavilion to the east of the building. The building is planned to be constructed with cast-in-place foundation walls roughly 6 inches above the flood elevation with CMU walls above. The FFE of the building is anticipated to be near existing grade. At the time of this preliminary report, the building design was conceptual and specific building geometry, loads, and site grading information had not been determined.
